Public Awareness Campaigns are really important to concientisate people, what make us think if cosmetic surgeries just for fashion are as important as any surgery for our health.
Ralph Lauren had a great idea doing his campaign to help people with breast cancer. Pink Pony supports programs for early diagnosis, education, treatment and research and is dedicated to bringing patient navigation and quality cancer care to medically underserved communities. Ten percent of proceeds from Pink Pony products benefits the Pink Pony Fund.
Another nice campaign is Fashion against AIDS by H&M which is promoted by Nikki Reed. The 25% of the total of clothes sold goes to the proyect against such hard illness. Many famous people are helping to prevent sexual transmitted diseases around the world.
Nike Red Laces campaing is raising money to eradicate diseases. The money that they earn goes to the Global Found, where people try to help with HIV testing, antiretroviral medication, medical staff training and preventative measures against mother-child disease transmission.
In Argentina, there is a Topper campaign which help to recycle your old trainers by carring them to a topper shop where a designer will make them an original draw, but here we can participate in some campaings that are international, like Luis Vuitton or Pink Pony, between some others.
A nice organization to participate is PETA, which fights for animal`s rights.
In this campaigns people who participate in them try to concientisate people about different topics, for example to help people with hard illness such AIDS or breast cancer, etc. People should follow campaigner advices, in some cases they don`t do this so the future can be worst.
